An AP Arrival...

Mon Nov 16, 2009, 1:08 PM
So I got my very first AP card *ever* in the mail on Saturday. It's a gorgeous Rogue/Gambit by Dennis Crisostomo from the X-Men Archives set. I'm working on a scan (I don't have a scanner) and/or waiting for Dennis to post his scan so I can steal it! I just had to share because I'm positively giddy and now I cannot wait to see the other 4 I am still waiting on....

So I took a picture (it's cruddy, I know, but better than nothing) of Dennis' AP. You can at least get a sense of its awesomeness! Good scan to follow at some later time. :)

Awwww, you're too sweet! I feel like something of a fraud being a Deviant member since I can't draw, but I love to use the site to show off the totally amazing cards I've been able to collect (I have tons more, but haven't scanned them b/c I'm lazy like that). Just think, someday soon, I will have a piece of yours posted here on my site! :)
:icondaviddeb:
a lot of people on DA are here to collect artworks actually, they built up their virtual gallery and enjoy interacting with artists and leaves comments. Actually many of my customers end up signing up;) You can also get all new work from your fav artists in your mail box. That's a nice platform

Thanks for having such great art! I know I live pretty close to Katie Cook (in Ann Arbor), but who else is in the area? I am ashamed to admit I don't know. :(
:iconfishdirt:
Well Ryan Stegman, artist on Incredible Hercules from Marvel. Former New Warriors artist Jon Malin. The moderator of the panel I'll be on in ohio this weekend. Gobs more. Matt Busch lives on the east side too. I live near kalamazoo. I might have to move to lansing and sleep on Malin's floor if that's where all the creative juice is :)
